Strawberry launches 1.0 AI browser to automate team workflows

Strawberry's spec page counts 93 native integrations with 1,254 hand-written operations, plus 1,975 further apps reachable through account authorization. Those figures come from the company and carry no date.

Browsing is free at every level. Credits are spent when companions take actions, according to the pricing page as viewed Oct. 30, 2026:

• Free: 500 credits a month
• Intern: $20 a month, 6,000 credits
• Part-Time: $85 a month, 25,000 credits
• Full-Time: $250 a month, 75,000 credits

Top-ups cost $0.01 per credit and roll over. Earlier company pages cited 2,000 free credits and a $100 Part-Time tier, but the October pricing page supersedes them. Maddock's Product Hunt post also offered 50% off the first month of any monthly plan with the code PH50 through Nov. 8, 2026.

Customers, team and funding

Tech.eu named Lovable and Tandem Health as early users. Maddock's Product Hunt post went further, claiming "hundreds of teams, including Lovable, Tandem Health and ElevenLabs." That is the company's own claim, and the ElevenLabs relationship could not be independently confirmed. The Product Hunt listing ranked first for Oct. 26, 2026, with 350 points when captured on Oct. 30, 2026.

Strawberry was founded in 2023 and had 12 people at launch, Tech.eu reported. Maddock is joined by co-founders Arian Hanifi, the chief technology officer, and Sebastian Thunman, the chief operating officer. The legal entities are Dendrite Systems, Inc. and Strawberry Browser AB.

According to Tech.eu, the company announced a $6 million seed round on Oct. 14, 2025, led by General Catalyst and EQT Ventures. Founders of Lovable, Hugging Face and Supabase also took part.

The competition

Maddock does not consider other AI browsers the main rivals. "I would say that we compete much more with the big agent platforms like Claude, ChatGPT, Grok Bot and Gemini," he told Tech.eu.

Browsers are not absent from the field, though. Opera's Neon, an agentic browser, reached its first users on Sept. 30, 2025, according to an Opera press release, and the company positions it as a premium subscription product. Product Hunt lists Manus and Browser Use as alternatives for agentic workflows.

Strawberry's pitch leans on shared context. "Strawberry is unique in that it is a browser where a team's context, workflows and logins already live," the company said in a statement quoted by Tech.eu. "A companion remembers how your team works and gets better the more you work together, because it is connected to all of that context."

Early reception is mixed, if mostly warm. Product Hunt showed a 4.8 out of 5 average across 13 reviews, with users praising task execution and visibility controls while asking for more speed and smoothness. Maddock's own view of the technology is blunter: "The technology is already here: agents can now work for weeks in a row."
