Arcee AI is a US-based open intelligence lab that builds frontier open-weight foundation models and enterprise agentic AI platforms. Founded in 2023 by Mark McQuade, Jacob Solawetz, and Brian Benedict, the company enables enterprises, developers, and public institutions to train, merge, customize, evaluate, and deploy domain-specific AI models securely within their own infrastructure. Arcee pioneered the open-source MergeKit library for model merging and developed the Arcee Foundation Model (AFM) family and the Trinity model series, including Trinity Large, a 400-billion-parameter open-weight model. Its product suite includes Arcee Cloud and Arcee Enterprise, serving regulated industries such as legal, healthcare, insurance, and finance.
