HEXANA is a French nuclear energy startup developing advanced modular reactors (AMRs) featuring sodium-cooled fast neutron technology integrated with thermal energy storage. The company's innovative platform combines two 400 MWth reactor modules with a molten salt storage system to deliver flexible, on-demand high-temperature heat (up to 500 degrees Celsius) and electricity for industrial decarbonization. HEXANA's solution targets energy-intensive industries including steel, chemicals, cement, hydrogen production, and synthetic fuels, enabling them to replace fossil fuels with reliable, low-carbon energy.
