Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech
Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech is Spain's only full-stack quantum computing company, headquartered in Barcelona and founded in 2019 as a spin-off of IFAE, the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), and the University of Barcelona. The company develops analog and digital quantum computers based on superconducting fluxonium qubits, a novel architecture that bypasses the need for error correction, enabling faster and more scalable solutions. Its multimodal approach delivers near-term quantum advantages for simulation, optimization, and AI workloads, serving sectors including logistics, finance, energy, materials, and pharmaceuticals. Qilimanjaro offers both on-premise quantum systems (SpeQtrum On-Prem) and cloud-based quantum access (SpeQtrum Cloud), and is building the world's first hybrid quantum data center to provide Quantum as a Service (QaaS).
