Swaza is a biotechnology company developing the world's first non-invasive nanofluid breathing aid, SWAZA-1 (AeroHeal), designed to reverse acute oxygen loss and treat respiratory distress without the need for ventilators or oxygen tanks. Using FDA-approved pharmaceutical ingredients in a novel nanotechnology formula, Swaza's platform facilitates gas exchange even in inflamed or fluid-filled lungs, targeting conditions such as ARDS, hypoxemia, burn care, and trauma. The company has partnered with BARDA DRIVe and was selected by NATO's Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) program.
