Tab is a San Francisco-based consumer AI agent that lives inside iMessage and WhatsApp, allowing users to delegate real-world tasks by sending a text. The agent has its own phone number, computing environment, and digital wallet, enabling it to autonomously book flights, place calls, draft emails, and process payments on the user's behalf with explicit approval required for spending. Tab is built on a strict privacy-first architecture, never using user data for AI model training and storing payment information in a secure vault inaccessible to the AI itself.
