Taste Labs is an AI research and infrastructure company building the data and evaluation layer that gives AI models and agents the ability to judge subjective quality, starting with design. The company works with frontier AI labs on post-training preference datasets, rubrics, and reinforcement-learning environments, while also offering application-layer tools such as a Brand API and Creativity API to help AI agents produce more on-brand and original output. Founded by solo founder Thais Castello Branco, Taste Labs emerged from stealth in June 2026 with a mission to end AI slop.
