Turbopuffer is a serverless vector and full-text search database built on object storage, purpose-built for AI applications. Founded in 2023 by ex-Shopify engineers Simon Hørup Eskildsen and Justine Li, it enables teams to store and search billions of vectors and petabytes of data at scale with cost-effective infrastructure. Customers include Anthropic, Cursor, and Notion, and the company has grown to tens of millions in ARR while remaining lean with around 22 employees.
