Alex de Vigan is Founder and CEO of Physicl, a synthetic data platform that helps physical AI teams generate targeted training data with exact ground truth on every frame.

Alex began his career in M&A law, studied at HEC Paris and Columbia Law School, and taught distressed company law at Paris I Pantheon Sorbonne. He then founded Nfinite, a 3D product imaging company for retailers.

Alex saw that generative AI was replacing e-commerce rendering while physical AI lacked reliable spatial data, so he repurposed his team's 3D pipeline for robotics. He also writes on physical AI and capital discipline as a Forbes Councils member.

He led Nfinite through a $100M Series B in 2022 and built relationships with retailers like Walmart, Amazon and Lowe's. He launched Physicl at NVIDIA GTC in March 2026 and announced a $10M seed round led by Inovia Capital in November 2026.

Physicl's Studio app launched with 10,000 3D environments and 100,000 assets, and serves customers including Meta, NVIDIA, AWS, World Labs and Epic Games. Its synthetic data helped SpAItial improve its Echo-3 world model.
