Avishek Sarkar is Co-Founder and Chief Risk Officer at Seeds Fincap Private Limited, an RBI-registered NBFC dedicated to bridging the credit gap for underserved MSMEs across India.

A postgraduate in Business Administration from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar, Avishek built over 12 years of expertise spanning credit underwriting, risk management, analytics, and consulting across India's microfinance and NBFC sector.

Avishek has authored multiple industry publications on MSME credit access, women entrepreneurship, and microfinance ratings, reflecting his deep commitment to financial inclusion.

Prior to co-founding Seeds Fincap, he served as Credit Head at Satya Microcapital Limited, AVP-Operations at Satin Creditcare Network Limited, and as a Rating Analyst at Onicra Credit Rating Agency and Micro Credit Ratings International (M-CRIL).

Under his risk leadership, Seeds Fincap has disbursed over INR 1,000 crore in loans, scaled to 120 branches across 8 states, raised a Series B round led by Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, and maintains NPAs below 2%.
