Baojiang (Chris) Yang is Co-Founder and Chief AI Scientist at Menos AI, an AI-native fintech platform delivering intelligent agentic solutions for institutional investors including hedge funds and asset managers.

Chris earned a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, a Master's in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Northwestern University, and a dual PhD from Carnegie Mellon University and Instituto Superior Tecnico in Engineering and Public Policy.

With deep expertise spanning big data analytics, machine learning, and business information systems, Chris brings a rare combination of rigorous academic research and production-grade ML engineering to the fintech space.

Prior to co-founding Menos AI in 2024, Chris served as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Houzz, where he built and deployed large-scale ML systems, and conducted research at CMU's iLab and INESC-ID in Lisbon.

Menos AI has raised over $10M in funding, launched its flagship agentic research product Sonar for hedge funds and asset managers, and is helping institutional investors automate complex workflows up to three times faster than building in-house.
