Carl Bager is Co-Founder and CTO at Frontrunner, a Y Combinator F26 startup building AI agents that automate go-to-market work, pitched as Cursor for GTM.

Carl earned a BA from Yale and previously served as CEO of Diciv, which was acquired by Madison AI. He also worked as a growth engineer at Instawork and The Org, and later became Growth Engineering Lead at Encord.

Carl started his first business at age eight, growing and selling strawberries. His background is in growth engineering, where he builds systems that connect sales and marketing.

At Encord, Carl led GTM engineering and built internal systems that bridged sales and marketing. Together with co-founder Maya Nayyar, he built GTM systems at Console and Encord that supported hundreds of millions of dollars in pipeline.
