Chase Lee is Founder and CEO of Ultra Security, an agentic security platform that gives real-time visibility and control over autonomous AI agents. He launched the company out of stealth in October 2026 with $10M in seed funding.
Chase studied business at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and has built companies since his early twenties, including Fetchnotes (acquired by Drift) and Ambassador (acquired by West). He then founded Trustpage in 2020, which Vanta acquired in 2023, and he later served as a VP of Product at Vanta.
While building agentic features at Vanta, Chase saw that AI agents could reach sensitive systems through MCP before security tooling had caught up. He recently delivered a talk at the Cloud Security Alliance AI Security Summit on defense in depth for superintelligence.
Ultra Security raised a $10M seed round from Ludlow Ventures, Hidden Capital, Entree Capital, Detroit Venture Partners, firedrop and FDVC, plus security leaders such as Shrav Mehta, Tim Sadler and Christina Cacioppo. The founding team comes from Vanta and Secureframe, and Ultra has completed a FedRAMP 20x Class B audit.
Trustpage grew into a trust center relied on by roughly 400 companies before its acquisition. Ultra's round ranks in the top 5% of US security seed rounds by size, and its platform enforces policy on every agent tool call, data read and prompt request.
