Christopher is Co-Founder and CTO at Keres, a Denver-based defense startup building reusable unmanned jet interceptors for air defense.
He spent 4+ years at Boom Supersonic, rising from Aircraft Technician to Director of Aircraft and Production Operations for the XB-1 supersonic demonstrator, and later served as Head of Operations at H3X Technologies. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University.
Christopher holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license and has patents in vehicle occupant restraint and pedestrian protection systems. He led avionics, flight test, and manufacturing at Boom.
Keres is part of Y Combinator's Fall 2026 batch and has raised $125K. Its Garmur interceptor launches on cue, closes at jet speed, identifies and destroys drones and cruise missiles, then lands to fly again.
Keres was selected to present at the OASW SO/LIC Accelerator Event in Washington, DC. It targets a gap in air defense by replacing million-dollar one-shot missiles with a reusable, fighter-class response to cheap drone and cruise missile threats.
