Dr. Phoebe Tan is Co-Founder and CEO of Nexstrom, a Singapore-based deep tech startup building the world's first wafer-scale platform for 2D semiconductor materials to power the next era of AI and high-performance computing.

Dr. Tan earned her PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and began her career as a research scientist at A*STAR, Singapore's national research labs.

Only seven years into her career, Dr. Tan was elevated to the CEO role at Raynergy Tek, a Taiwan-based advanced semiconductor materials startup, where she led commercialization of photovoltaics and CMOS image sensor products.

Dr. Tan also serves as a Partner at Xora Innovation, a venture firm connected to Temasek, Singapore's sovereign wealth fund, and has raised multiple rounds of venture funding and completed major IP acquisitions throughout her career.

Nexstrom has raised $15M in total capital, including a $12M seed round led by Xora Innovation, and has demonstrated wafer-scale material results on a 12-inch system, with commercial tools targeted for 2030 to 2035.
