Eddie Haddad

Eddie Haddad is Co-Founder of iPiD (International Payments Identity), a Singapore-based fintech company pioneering a first-of-its-kind global bank account validation and proxy addressing platform to make cross-border payments simpler, safer, and fraud-resistant.
Eddie spent nearly a decade as Managing Director at SWIFT, leading operations across Asia Pacific, and prior to that held senior leadership roles at Thomson Reuters spanning South East Asia, ASEAN, Pacific, and South Asia for over a decade, building deep expertise in payments, compliance, and regulated financial technology markets.
Eddie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from Monash University, and brings a rare combination of institutional payments knowledge and entrepreneurial drive to the cross-border fintech space.
Co-founding iPiD in 2021 alongside payments veterans Damien Dugauquier and Geertjan van Bochove, Eddie leveraged his extensive SWIFT and Thomson Reuters networks to help the company rapidly onboard financial institution clients across multiple markets, including banks, payment fintechs, and wallets.
iPiD has raised $24.6M in total disclosed funding, including a $16M Series A led by Foundation Capital with strategic backing from Citi and HSBC, and its platform now serves financial institutions across more than 15 countries, addressing a global authorized push payment fraud problem projected to cause $331 billion in losses by 2027.
