Edward Chiu is the Co-Founder and CEO of Catalyst Software, the world's leading Customer Growth Platform built to help B2B SaaS companies upsell, retain, and grow revenue through customer-led strategies.

Born and raised in Taiwan, Edward moved to the US without knowing English, studied Business Administration and Entrepreneurship at California State University Fullerton, and went on to build DigitalOcean's customer success organization from scratch, scaling it to 15+ people and helping the company surpass $100M in revenue.

Edward and his brother Kevin co-founded Catalyst out of firsthand frustration as Customer Success leaders, turning an internal tool they built at DigitalOcean into a category-defining platform; he is also a Forbes Technology Council member and active angel investor.

Catalyst raised over $67M in venture funding from top-tier investors including Accel, Spark Capital, ServiceNow Ventures, and Databricks Ventures, and was named a LinkedIn Top 50 Startup of 2021 in the US.

Catalyst grew ARR by 380% following its Series A, served leading technology brands such as Braze, Fivetran, and Attentive, and in February 2024 merged with Totango to form a combined Customer Revenue Optimization suite.
