Gabriel Braga

Gabriel Braga is Co-Founder and CEO of Grupo QuintoAndar, where he applies AI to eliminate friction, drive housing mobility and help more people live in a home they love.
Gabriel earned a B.A. at UFMG and an MBA at Stanford GSB, and spent time on international growth at Airbnb in 2011. Earlier he was an Associate at Biominas Brasil and Managing Partner at Semeia Brasil.
Gabriel and co-founder André Penha met at Stanford and started the idea for QuintoAndar there, aiming to solve a huge problem that would benefit many people. His advice to founders is to be more passionate about the problem than the solution.
QuintoAndar raised a $300M Series E that valued it at $4B, and an extended round later lifted its valuation to $5.1B. Total funding is reported at roughly $755M.
QuintoAndar became a unicorn in 2019 after a $250M Series D led by SoftBank. It has since expanded beyond Brazil, opened a tech center in Lisbon, and reached a reported $750M in 2024 revenue.
