Geertjan van Bochove is Co-Founder, CFO, and COO at iPiD (International Payments Identity), a Singapore-based fintech building the global standard for Know Your Payee (KYP) verification in cross-border payments.

Geertjan built his career as a Banking Industry Consultant and analytics professional at SWIFT and BIT-Works BV, gaining deep expertise in global payments infrastructure before co-founding iPiD in 2021.

Holding an MBA from Vlerick Business School and degrees from the University of Westminster and Nyenrode New Business School, Geertjan brings a rare blend of financial acumen and operational leadership to a complex regulatory space.

As CFO and COO, Geertjan oversees iPiD's financial strategy and operations, helping steer the company through multiple funding rounds and global expansion across 50+ countries, culminating in a $16M Series A led by Foundation Capital in September 2026.

iPiD's platform now connects to 6,500+ financial institutions covering 85% of the world's bank population and over 4 billion accounts, enabling secure payee verification before payments are sent to reduce fraud and failed transactions.
