Ilai Schwartz is Co-Founder and CTO at NVision Imaging Technologies, a quantum MRI company leveraging advances in quantum physics to enable early metabolic assessment of cancer treatment response.

Ilai earned his MSc in Physics (Summa Cum Laude) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, served 4.5 years in the Israeli military intelligence Unit 8200, and spent 2 years as a strategy consultant at McKinsey and Company.

Ilai was one of the original inventors of the concept of diamond-based room-temperature polarization and co-led early proof-of-concept experiments with the University of Ulm team.

Prior to NVision, Ilai led R&D projects for 2 years at Gita Technologies, a high-tech cybersecurity startup, building deep expertise in product development and technological leadership.

NVision has raised over $35M across 7 funding rounds including a $30M Series A led by Playground Global, secured more than 35M euros in public grant funding, and delivered its first POLARIS polarizers to clinical and research partners in 2024.
