Itay Gabbay is Co-Founder and CTO of Brava Security, where he leads the vision around cloud-scale telemetry, SIEM efficiency, and security signal architecture. Brava emerged from stealth in November 2026 with a $15M seed round.

Itay spent seven years in the IDF, rising from software engineer to engineering manager of a DARPA-backed autonomous AutoML platform at the J6 & Cyber Defense Directorate. He then served as VP R&D at Deepchecks, leading research on LLM robustness, alignment, and safety.

Itay holds an MS from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and a BS from The College of Management Academic Studies. He presented Brava's Cloudots research system on autonomous attack simulation at fwd:cloudsec Europe 2025.

Itay has spent fourteen years leading high-velocity engineering organizations, including joint US-Israeli DARPA AI research and enterprise AI security initiatives. At Brava he builds AI models that predict what an attack looks like across every log source in a specific environment.

Brava's multi-agent platform generates the telemetry an attack would produce without executing it, helping teams find blind spots in SIEM detections. The company already works with Fortune 100 customers in retail, energy, and hospitality.
