Jaemin Yoo is Co-Founder and CEO of Nums AI, a Seoul-based startup building a tabular foundation model that predicts outcomes from structured business data. He is also an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Seoul National University.

Jaemin earned his undergraduate and PhD degrees at Seoul National University, then served as an Assistant Professor at KAIST from 2023 to 2026. He received a Google PhD Fellowship during his doctoral studies and became a KAIST professor at age 29.

Jaemin has spent more than a decade researching AI for structured data, including graph neural networks, time series and anomaly detection, and has authored dozens of papers. He co-founded Nums AI with researchers Dooho Lee and Minyong Cho.

Nums AI was founded in February 2026 and raised a 4 billion won first round led by Stonebridge Ventures, with SBVA, KT Investment and Base Ventures. A second pre-seed tranche brought total funding to about $4.6M and earned a TIPS selection with $600K in government-backed R&D funding.

Nums AI's model handles tasks such as demand forecasting, anomaly detection and credit assessment with a single model, replacing many task-specific pipelines. Its technology targets commerce, healthcare, finance and manufacturing.
