João Justi

João Justi is Co-Founder and CTO at Twin, a Paris-based AI startup building autonomous agents that automate complex operational workflows by controlling interfaces via web browsers.
João dropped out of law school at 22 to launch Aleph One Fund, an algorithmic trading hedge fund where his team achieved 200x performance improvement in 4 years. He later joined Zama, a homomorphic encryption leader that raised $70M, where he led teams developing a homomorphic virtual machine and GPU acceleration of cryptographic operators.
João co-founded Videosupport, which was acquired in April 2023, where he led both the ML engine and core product development. He studied Law at Universidade de São Paulo and participated in an exchange program at UZH.
Twin raised $3M in pre-seed funding in February 2024 and uses multimodal models with vision capabilities like GPT-4V to automate repetitive corporate tasks without relying on APIs. The company is based in Paris and co-founded with Hugo Mercier, who previously founded Dreem (raised $60M, 150 employees, exited).
Twin's browser-based AI agents can automatically load web pages, click buttons, and enter text to complete complex multi-step workflows like onboarding employees across multiple systems. The platform aims to eliminate repetitive tasks and allow users to focus on creativity, decision-making, and communication.
