Jon Miller Schwartz

Jon Miller Schwartz is Co-Founder and CEO of Ultra, a Brooklyn-based robotics company building and deploying AI-powered general-purpose robots for American warehouses under a robots-as-a-service model.
A two-time entrepreneur and lifelong engineer, Jon previously co-founded Voodoo Manufacturing (YC W17) and Layer By Layer (YC S13), gaining deep expertise in 3D printing, manufacturing, and industrial automation.
Jon's firsthand experience running a manufacturing business with in-house fulfillment gave him direct insight into the labor-intensive, high-dexterity demands of warehouse packing, which became Ultra's founding thesis.
At Ultra, Jon has led the company through Y Combinator's Summer 2024 batch, a $12M seed round, and a $50M Series A led by Framework Ventures, bringing total funding to $62M. He has also forged a key partnership with AI research firm Physical Intelligence to power Ultra's robot fleet.
Ultra's robots have packed more than 500,000 warehouse orders across deployments in New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and Austin, delivering customers 30 to 40% monthly cost savings per robot.
