Joseph Perrotta is CEO and Co-Founder of Invertix (YC F26), a Munich and Italy-based startup building AI workers to autonomously operate renewable energy infrastructure at global scale.
Originally from Viterbo, Italy, Joseph studied Economics at the University of Bologna, dropped out to pursue entrepreneurship, and previously worked at Italian cloud storage startup Cubbit, where he helped raise over $25M.
Joseph is a former professional volleyball player who sold over $17M in real estate at age 18, and conducted more than 5,000 outreach conversations with energy operators before founding Invertix, demonstrating his relentless, research-driven approach to building.
Joseph co-founded Invertix with Kaan Durmaz after meeting at Brightdale, building the company out of Munich's TUM.ai AI community; Invertix secured a €1.7M pre-seed round led by Vireo Ventures with participation from Italian Founders Fund and was selected for Y Combinator's Fall 2026 batch.
Invertix's AI workers now serve clients managing over 50 GW of energy assets across the UK, US, and Spain, with a sales pipeline exceeding 100 GW, positioning the company as a defining force in AI-driven energy infrastructure management.
