Josiah Meyer

Josiah Meyer is Co-Founder and CEO of Healthleap, an AI-powered clinical screening platform that helps hospitals identify and treat patients with undiagnosed conditions, starting with disease-related malnutrition.
A serial entrepreneur who began building companies in his teens, Josiah holds a BSc Honours in Machine Learning (top 1%) and a BSc in Mathematics, Statistics, and Actuarial Science (top 0.1%) from the University of the Free State, and previously consulted at Boston Consulting Group.
Josiah represented South Africa at the International Mathematics Competition and co-founded Healthleap alongside his sister Jemima, a clinical dietitian, driven by a shared mission to ensure no hospital patient goes unseen or untreated.
Prior to Healthleap, Josiah co-founded and led NutriLeap, a mobile clinical nutrition app for dietitians that achieved organic growth across 10+ countries, and served as the first Product Manager at Invictus Capital, scaling products to over 20,000 customers.
Healthleap has raised $38M in combined Seed and Series A funding from Sequoia Capital, First Round Capital, and Hummingbird Ventures, with one Penn Medicine hospital attributing $23.8M in annual financial impact and 39% more malnutrition cases identified and treated.
