Justin D'Souza

Justin D'Souza is Co-Founder and CEO of Asymptote Labs, a New York-based company building the runtime infrastructure layer for enterprise AI agents, giving organizations real-time visibility and control over AI agent activity across tools and environments.
Justin previously led machine learning engineering at Doppel, a social engineering defense startup, where he scaled real-time ML detection infrastructure from processing 1 million to over 1 billion domains per day. He is an engineering alumnus of the University of Waterloo and also served as a Founder Fellow at South Park Commons.
Justin recognized a critical infrastructure gap firsthand while building AI agents at Doppel, observing that enterprises were deploying agents without any system to monitor, audit, or control them. He co-founded Asymptote with longtime collaborator Shukan Shah, with whom he has built across multiple startups over more than seven years.
Prior to Doppel, Justin led Data Science at Level (joinlevel), broadening his foundation in applied ML and data systems at scale. His cross-functional background across security, ML infrastructure, and data science uniquely positioned him to tackle the agentic AI security problem.
Asymptote's open-source project Beacon launched in May 2026, was named one of Help Net Security's hottest open-source cybersecurity tools of June 2026, and reached No. 3 on GitHub's global trending repositories in September 2026, with its GitHub stars growing over 460% in a single month.
