Justin Zheng

Justin Zheng is Co-Founder and CEO of Catalyst, a San Francisco-based AI platform that uses autonomous agents to convert plain-English investment ideas into executable retail trading strategies across spot tokens, perpetual futures, tokenized stocks, and prediction markets.
A prodigy entrepreneur, Justin got into Ethereum in middle school, raised his first seed round at just 16, and later joined Sam Altman's Worldcoin in 2019 before co-founding Catalyst in 2025 with Dylan Iskandar.
Justin won a Pioneer grant for biometrics and crypto synthesis and became the youngest IDEO CoLab fellow twice, demonstrating a rare blend of deep technical acumen and design thinking from an exceptionally early age.
Catalyst raised a $30M seed round led by Sequoia Capital, with co-investors including Jump Trading, PeakXV, Lux Capital, AntiFund, Coinbase Ventures, and Premji Invest, validating the platform's vision to democratize sophisticated investing.
In its pilot phase, Catalyst generated hundreds of millions in trading volume within just a couple of weeks, and is now opening access to users from its waitlist as it scales its quantitative engineering and reinforcement learning teams.
