Liv Huang

Liv Huang is Co-Founder of Qlo (YC S26), which builds AI agents that run commercial insurance underwriting from submission to renewal. She began as Qlo's founding engineer and became co-founder when the company was accepted into Y Combinator.
Liv spent over three years at CuboAi, where she led backend work at a Taiwanese baby-monitor company with roughly $15M in annual revenue. She earlier worked as a backend developer at GAMMA Technology & IT Consultancy.
Liv is a self-taught engineer with a background in Counseling and Educational Psychology, including a Bachelor of Education from National University of Tainan. At CuboAi she built a self-hosted AI code review system on GitLab CI/CD using Gemini, and she is pursuing a Master of Science at Arizona State University.
Qlo completed Y Combinator's Summer 2026 batch and has closed its pre-seed round. Liv and co-founder Ryan Hu had already built together before starting the company.
Since going live in May, Distinguished Programs' Executive Lines team has tripled its primary quote volume on Qlo. Qlo aims to become the underwriting system of record for the AI era, where human underwriters and AI agents share the same accounts, rules and workflow.
