Matt Murphy is Chairman and CEO at Marvell Technology, a leader in data infrastructure semiconductor solutions serving AI, cloud, and enterprise markets. He led the transformation of Marvell into becoming a leader in data infrastructure semiconductor solutions, growing the company's enterprise value more than tenfold.

Matt spent 22 years at Maxim Integrated in business leadership roles, most recently as Executive Vice President of Business Units and Sales and Marketing. He earned a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College and is also a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program.

In 2018, Institutional Investor named him All-America Executive Team Best CEO in the semiconductor category, and he served as the Chairman of the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) in 2018. He served on the Board of Directors of eBay Inc. from March 2019 to June 2022.

Under Murphy's leadership, FY2025 revenue reached $5.77B with record operating cash flow of $1.68B; data center revenue grew 88% YoY for the year. Joining the company in July 2016 as CEO, Matt is responsible for leading new technology development, directing ongoing operations and driving Marvell's growth strategy.

Marvell now serves all four large U.S. hyperscalers with custom AI silicon in production and has secured multi-year agreements with major cloud providers. Marvell's growth is being fueled by strong AI demand for custom silicon and electro-optics products, with the team now engaged in over 50 new opportunities across more than 10 customers.
