Mohamed Afifi

Mohamed Afifi is the Co-Founder and COO of HIFI (formerly HIFI Bridge), a next-generation payments and stablecoin infrastructure company founded in New York City in 2022.
Mohamed co-founded HIFI alongside CEO Zach Walsh after identifying a critical gap in global payments infrastructure, recognizing that crypto-native payment rails were fragmented and inaccessible for businesses at scale.
As COO, Mohamed oversees operations at HIFI, helping build the infrastructure and APIs that bridge traditional bank rails, stablecoins, and card networks through a single integration for businesses worldwide.
HIFI raised a $37M Series A led by Left Lane Capital and has secured landmark partnerships with Visa for stablecoin-funded card payouts and participated in DTCC production trades alongside BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, and Nasdaq.
HIFI now processes over $7 billion in annualized volume across 87 countries, has settled $227M+ in stablecoin payments on Polygon since January 2025, and supports over 1,000 developers and businesses on its APIs.
