Mohammad Haskali

Mohammad Haskali is Co-Founder of Skopos Bio, a Melbourne-based precision oncology startup developing next-generation targeted radiopharmaceuticals to transform cancer treatment.
Associate Professor Haskali earned his PhD in Radiopharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Melbourne and advanced his expertise as a radiochemist at the National Institutes of Health (NIMH) in the USA before joining Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in 2016.
As Peter Mac's inaugural Chief Radiopharmaceutical Scientist, he holds four patent applications and produced the world's first Carbon-11 labelled Fluoroform, a breakthrough synthon for tagging bioactive molecules.
Haskali built and leads Australia's only fully integrated radiopharmaceutical program at Peter Mac, overseeing one of the world's largest hospital-based theranostic production programs supporting numerous clinical trials including first-in-human studies.
Skopos Bio launched in 2024 with an AUD $12 million seed round backed by Andrew Forrest's Tenmile, John Wylie's Tin Alley Ventures, and Reed Jobs' Yosemite, with initial focus on prostate cancer affecting an estimated 1.5 million people diagnosed annually worldwide.
