Nijat Bakhshaliyev is Co-Founder and CTO at Hypernova, a trustless on-chain proprietary trading platform built on Hyperliquid that brings funded crypto trading fully on-chain with instant, verifiable payouts.

Nijat studied at Imperial College London and built deep engineering expertise as a senior engineer at Coinbase, where he worked on products adopted by leading crypto-native teams, and at Citi on the Rates eTrading Technology team.

With a rare combination of traditional finance and crypto-native engineering experience, Nijat brings institutional-grade technical rigor to decentralized trading infrastructure, designing smart contract systems that automate payouts and settle trader activity transparently on-chain.

Hypernova raised a $3M pre-seed round led by Lemniscap, with participation from CMS Holdings, Very Early Ventures, and Pivot Global, alongside prominent Hyperliquid ecosystem angels, in a round that was oversubscribed three times.

Since launching its closed alpha on May 1, 2025, Hypernova has onboarded 250 traders, funded over 20 traders, and paid out more than $30,000, with a public launch imminent and plans to offer funded allocations of up to $200,000.
