Oliver Brady

Oliver Brady is Co-Founder and CTO at Hone, a San Francisco-based enterprise AI company building autonomous systems called Engines that take ongoing responsibility for complex business outcomes over weeks and months.
Oliver studied at Stanford University, earning both a Bachelor's and Master's degree, and worked as a Quantitative Trader at Jane Street before pivoting to AI research at Stanford's AI Laboratory.
Oliver was one of the first engineers at Harvey, the legal AI startup, where he served as a Research Engineer, and later became Head of Engineering for Enterprise at Mercor, the AI recruiting platform.
At Mercor, Oliver built and led its enterprise effort and earned a reputation as a talent magnet, with former colleagues crediting him with many of Mercor's strongest hires.
Hone launched publicly in October 2026 with a $60M seed round led by Benchmark and Index Ventures at a $285M valuation, with early customers including Cognition and Modal, and a team drawn from OpenAI, Ramp, and Midjourney.
