Olivier Moindrot

Olivier Moindrot is the Co-founder and former CEO of Fragment (YC S23), a human-in-the-loop task management platform built for fast-scaling ops teams, which was acquired by Sierra in April 2026.
Olivier studied applied mathematics and CS at Ecole Polytechnique and earned an MS in ICME from Stanford, where he also received a Centennial TA Award for the renowned CS231n course.
His conviction that AI and human collaboration must coexist, not compete, was forged firsthand while managing 300+ offshore operators at MetaMap, where his AI team processed over 1 million identity verifications per month.
Prior to Fragment, Olivier served as AI Lead at MetaMap (acquired by Incode), co-building a 12-person KYC automation team, and as a Senior Data Scientist at Owkin, applying AI to cancer research with academic and pharmaceutical partners.
Fragment's acquisition by Sierra, a customer service AI company valued at $10B, brought Olivier and co-founder Guillaume Genthial to lead Sierra's agent development efforts in France and across Europe.
