Born in Israel, Or is a trained lawyer who practiced at Agassi Law Firm and previously co-founded AGAM Innovations Ltd., a consumer goods company he successfully led to acquisition in 2016, before relocating to the U.S. and entering real estate investing.

Or identified deep fragmentation in the U.S. residential real estate market and saw a technology opportunity to streamline funding, renovation scoping, project management, and resale into a single unified platform for investors.

At Stoa, Or co-founded alongside childhood friend Tom Sella and CTO Jonathan Saragossi, raising over $150 million in equity and securitization funding from investors including Cantor Fitzgerald, Zeev Ventures, and BRM Group.

Stoa funded hundreds of fix-and-flip transactions annually, offering low-rate loans for up to 90% of property value and a guaranteed five-day close post-renovation, directly addressing America's housing shortage of approximately 7 million homes.
