Owen Nicholson is Co-Founder and CEO of Slamcore, a London-based spatial intelligence company delivering visual AI and SLAM software that enables robots, drones, and industrial vehicles to navigate and understand their environments in real time.

Owen holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Bristol and an MSc in Innovation and Technology Management from the University of Bath, building a career rooted in deep-tech commercialisation and early-stage R&D management.

An expert in IP management and technology transfer, Owen previously spent four years as External Research Programme Manager at Dyson, scaling its external research portfolio from a handful of projects to dozens of institutional partnerships.

Prior to Dyson, Owen served as Head of Growth at IN-PART, an academic-industry collaboration platform, and began his career at the Ministry of Defence's Counter Terrorism Science and Technology Centre managing four cross-disciplinary research programmes.

Slamcore has raised $40M in total funding from backers including Rockwell Automation Ventures, Toyota Ventures, and Amadeus Capital Partners, with its Aware and Alert products deployed across more than 30 industrial facilities in Europe and North America.
