Param

Param Thakkar is Co-Founder at Versine (YC F26), the auth layer that lets AI agents securely sign up, log in and act on a user's behalf.
Param studied Computer Science at the University of Waterloo and interned at zipBoard, Dropbase and Glean, where he worked on Deep Research evals. He also worked on ML-driven ads targeting at Quora and on Vector Search at Databricks.
Described by peers as a hacker, builder and engineer, Param has 49 public GitHub repositories and is currently on leave from Waterloo to build Versine.
Param co-founded Versine with Harshith Latchupatula and Vishnudev Poil and joined Y Combinator's F26 batch in San Francisco. The team is backed by Y Combinator.
Versine tackles the problem that growing agent web traffic is blocked at authentication, giving platforms a way to convert agent interactions. It now also lets agents send and receive money through MCP connections to assistants like ChatGPT and Claude.
