A Chemical Engineering graduate from M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology and an alumnus of IIM Bangalore and Wharton Business School, Poorvank built over 19 years of deep B2B expertise across leading pharma firms including Ranbaxy, Jubilant, Alembic, Hikal, and RL Fine Chem.

Recognized as 'Person of the Year 2021' by Inner Review Magazine and named among the 'Top 10 Chief Operating Officers 2021' by CEO Insights Magazine, Poorvank is widely regarded as a transformational leader in the pharmaceutical industry.

Before co-founding NuSynth, Poorvank served as MD and CEO of Solara Active Pharma Sciences, one of India's largest pure-play API companies with exports to over 75 countries, where he led strategic turnaround and global business growth.

NuSynth raised approximately $4 million in seed funding co-led by Avaana Capital and Shastra VC, with its AI engine shortening traditional R&D gestation cycles and targeting high-value sectors including pharmaceuticals and electronics chemicals.
