Ram Keralapura is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Otter Health, a Washington, DC-based healthcare technology company reimagining utilization management through AI-powered real-time clinical intelligence.

Ram earned a PhD in Computer Engineering from UC Davis, a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and completed the Engineering Leadership Professional Program at UC Berkeley.

A prolific innovator, Ram has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and holds over 20 patents granted by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, reflecting his deep expertise in data science, machine learning, and network security.

Prior to Otter Health, Ram served as Head of Data Science and ML for Google Cloud Enterprise Security (Chronicle) at Google, and held CTO roles at FutureProof Technologies and The Public Health Company, bringing over two decades of experience in data infrastructure and AI.

Otter Health launched in October 2025 with $8 million in seed funding co-led by Fika Ventures and Evidenced, and its EHR-agnostic platform is already being used by major payers and provider groups to reduce low-value care without traditional prior authorization.
