Saman Naderiparizi

Saman Naderiparizi is Co-Founder and CTO at ElastixAI, a Seattle-based AI infrastructure startup building FPGA-based inference platforms that deliver up to 50 times lower total cost of ownership for large language models. He is also an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Washington.
Saman earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, where he pioneered battery-free camera systems powered by electromagnetic waves. He led hardware engineering at Xnor.ai (acquired by Apple for $200 million in 2020) and served as a senior engineering manager at Apple, focusing on AI/ML hardware.
Saman has over 1,100 academic citations for his research in AI inference, AI efficiency, and ML/HW/SW co-design. His PhD work achieved HD video streaming at 10,000 times lower power than traditional methods.
ElastixAI raised $16 million led by FUSE in 2025, with participation from Catapult, Tyche, Liquid 2 Ventures, and DNX Ventures. The company's platform enables customers to configure inference infrastructure to detailed levels for specific use cases.
ElastixAI's FPGA-based platform reduces power consumption by up to 80% and integrates seamlessly with existing AI pipelines through vLLM plug-ins. The technology serves hyperscalers and enterprises deploying AI at production scale.
