Sarthak Misra is Partner, Asia at SoftBank Investment Advisers, focusing on technology investments that make life more efficient and rewarding. He joined SoftBank's Mumbai office in 2019 and was promoted to Partner in 2024.

Sarthak holds a BS in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School. Prior to SoftBank, he worked as an early-stage investor at Matrix Partners India and as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company.

Sarthak believes the best founders take real ownership of problems and always make time for consumer feedback, regardless of company size. He was inspired by SoftBank's vision to support ambitious entrepreneurs building a technology-led future.

Sarthak holds board positions at Meesho, OfBusiness, Juspay Technologies, and Namma Yatri, and works closely with Swiggy and Lenskart. He serves on the board of multiple unicorns in India's consumer internet and fintech sectors.

SoftBank's India portfolio, which Sarthak helps oversee, is valued at approximately $14 billion across 15 private investments. The portfolio includes over 20 unicorns with several companies preparing for IPOs including Meesho and Lenskart.
