Seth Schilbe is Co-Founder and CTO of ORO AI, a Y Combinator Fall 2026 company building open benchmarks and RL environments for agentic commerce.

Seth was a Senior Software Engineer at AWS, where he led distributed systems projects across ECS and AWS Cloud Map. He earned a Software Engineering degree from the University of New Brunswick and previously worked at Garmin.

Seth co-founded HomeWurk, a two-sided marketplace connecting students with local contract work. He now focuses on RL environments and simulations for long-horizon credit assignment, and recently won a golden egg award at Bench Summit.

At ORO AI, Seth helps run Bittensor Subnet 15, where builders submit shopping agents and independent validators score them on problems that change daily. ORO AI joined Y Combinator's Fall 2026 batch and is reported to be the first crypto company with a live token to do so.

ORO's subnet work produced 146,831 extracted trajectories, which were used to lift a 4B parameter Qwen3 model from 18.0% to 42.7% success on held-out shopping problems. The team recently launched ORO Bench, which uses versioned, generated shopping environments for continuous evaluation.
