Shehryar Saroya

Shehryar Saroya is Co-Founder and CEO of Moving Atoms, a Y Combinator S26 company that turns LiDAR and SLAM scans into editable Revit and IFC models and SimReady worlds for robots.
Shehryar earned a master's in Maths and Computer Science from Oxford and a degree in Maths and Economics from LSE. He then spent two years as a machine learning engineer at TikTok, building core video recommendation models that serve billions of people.
He previously founded Silicon Soul, a bootstrapped studio bringing generative AI to games, and co-founded Moving Atoms with his brother Ahmad, also an Oxford mathematician.
Moving Atoms is backed by Y Combinator and NVIDIA Inception, and its first world model, Atom 1, was built on internet-scale video and fine tuned for physics.
Atom 1 reportedly tops DeepMind's Physics IQ benchmark, and the company has launched a fully autonomous Scan to BIM platform that lets robotics teams train and evaluate in simulation instead of relying on slow manual data.
