Shukan Shah is Co-Founder and CTO at Asymptote Labs, a New York-based company building the runtime infrastructure layer for enterprise AI agents, giving organizations real-time visibility and control over AI agent activity.

Shukan studied Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology and built his career in payments at Brex and Level, before moving into AI engineering and security operations at Doppel.

At Doppel, Shukan led SOC workflow automation and pioneered agentic threat-hunting infrastructure, saving thousands of analyst hours and establishing deep expertise in enterprise security operations.

Shukan co-founded Asymptote Labs alongside Justin D'Souza after participating in the South Park Commons Founder Fellowship, where the two refined their vision for AI agent runtime security and governance.

Asymptote's open-source tool Beacon launched in May 2026, reached No. 3 on GitHub's global trending repositories in September 2026, and the company raised an oversubscribed $5.5M seed round led by Tower Research Ventures.
