Sid Ravikumar

Sid Ravikumar is Co-Founder and CEO of Liquid Energy, which builds NanoDC, factory-built, off-grid AI inference modules that carry their own solar power.
Sid was a Founding Engineer at Jelly.fm and a Senior Software Engineer at Lotus Laboratories, with earlier roles at Hearst Media Services and Abbott. He holds MS degrees in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and the University at Buffalo, plus a BS from Illinois Institute of Technology.
At the Data Intensive Distributed Computing Lab at University at Buffalo, Sid led a team turning research into OneDataShare, an open-source cloud data transfer scheduling and optimization service. He started as a volunteer on the project and grew into its team lead.
Sid co-founded Liquid Energy with Sajan Khosa and Arsh Sekhon, and the company joined Y Combinator's Fall 2026 batch. It is also backed by the NVIDIA Inception Program and the University of Waterloo Velocity incubator.
Liquid Energy's units bring their own power, so new AI inference capacity can be placed where the sun is and start serving tokens in weeks. The company targets the gap between surging inference demand and slow grid expansion with a solar in, tokens out approach.
