Sri Somasundaram

Sri Somasundaram is Co-Founder of Latent Health, a clinical AI company building a Clinical Reasoning Engine to automate medication access workflows and streamline enterprise pharmacy operations for health systems across the US.
Sri earned an MS in Computer Science with an AI focus from Stanford University, where he conducted research at the Stanford AI Laboratory (SAIL) under Prof. Fei-Fei Li and investigated molecular binding patterns responsible for adaptive immunity, with publications at ICML, ICLR, and Nature.
Inspired by his upbringing with a physician mother and a personal conviction to simplify the patient journey from sickness back to health, Sri co-founded Latent with childhood friend Rishabh Jain in 2022 to bridge the gap between diagnosis and treatment using AI.
Prior to Latent, Sri was a Founding Engineer at Hebbia.AI, where he operationalized large language models for major financial institutions, and earlier served as a Software Engineer at Riot Games and a researcher at USC's Cognitive Learning for Vision and Robotics lab.
Latent now serves 60+ leading US health systems collectively caring for approximately 70 million patients, has helped more than 2 million patients access medications faster, reduced medication denials by over 30%, and raised an $80M Series A at a roughly $600M valuation.
