Sverre Tyrhaug is Managing Partner at Thommessen, one of Norway's leading commercial law firms, a role he has held since 2013. He specializes in capital markets and M&A law, recognized as a leading capital markets lawyer in international rankings.

Sverre joined Thommessen in 1997 and became partner in 2006, previously heading the firm's capital markets group. He studied at Cambridge Judge Business School and has worked in Thommessen's Oslo, Brussels, and London offices.

Sverre has authored Norwegian chapters in three major legal publications by Oxford and Cambridge University Press on acquisition finance, takeover bids, and public offerings. He is a Certified Legal Project Manager and has led Thommessen's strategic transformation program focused on digitalization and innovation.
