Terese Hougaard is a venture capital investor who served as Partner at Atomico from 2020 to 2025, focusing on early stage investments in fintech, AI, climate, and SaaS. She joined tem's board as an Atomico representative after leading their 10.5 million pound Series A funding round in 2024.

Terese holds an MPhil in Business Innovation and Strategy and a BA in English from the University of Cambridge, plus a BSc in Business from Cass Business School. She spent five years at CapitalG (Alphabet's growth equity fund) partnering with companies like Stripe, Robinhood, and UiPath, and previously worked at Google and American Express.
