Tito Porras

Tito Porras is Co-Founder and CEO of Inner Logic, a Baltimore-based medical technology company building AI-powered simulation and development infrastructure for the next generation of autonomous procedural devices, from orthopedic implants to surgical robots.
Tito earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.D. from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, and an MBA from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, before leaving his neurosurgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital to build Inner Logic.
A physician-turned-entrepreneur, Tito draws on his clinical training and postdoctoral research at JHU Robotics to champion the idea that surgical autonomy will follow the same staged adoption path as self-driving vehicles, requiring robust simulation infrastructure to get there.
Tito previously served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at LCSR JHU Robotics and led the company under its earlier name, Semaphor, before rebranding to Inner Logic and closing an $11.5M Seed round co-led by General Catalyst and Bison Ventures in July 2026.
Inner Logic's algorithms have already completed autonomous steps of a gallbladder removal in a live animal model, and the founding team collectively holds over 40 patents and has authored more than 400 peer-reviewed publications, establishing the company as a foundational force in procedural AI.
